DreamAI

A web service for work with dreams

DreamAI has two workspaces. A client describes a dream and receives an interpretation from a selected AI psychologist. The system stores scores for vividness, emotionality, and lucidity and shows how they change over time.

A psychologist works in a separate workspace: sends a client a one-time link for an interpretation and reviews the result within the access the client has granted. The service is used by psychologists.

Status

Pilot. Psychologists use the service in agreed scenarios.

For Whom

People who want to follow their dreams over weeks and months and see what repeats.

Psychologists who need a professional workspace and a structured record of a client's dreams between sessions.

How it can work

Situation. A single interpretation does not show what repeats in a person's dreams, what changes, and where the dynamics are heading. A psychologist has little structured material between sessions.

System. After an interpretation the AI scores the dream on three scales, and the system stores the result with the session and the date. The current dream is drawn against the history on a ternary diagram, with up to the last ten measurements. A client can share a session through an explicit link.

Human role. The client decides what to share and what the dream means to them. The psychologist reviews the sessions a client shared, or conducts an interpretation through a one-time invitation.

What we study

What a longitudinal record of subjective experience gives compared with one interpretation. We watch how the emotional background of dreams changes over a week or a month, whether lucidity grows or falls, whether images become brighter or dimmer, and whether a stable pattern stands out from a random episode.

How measurement works

Three scales. Vividness is the saturation and detail of images. Emotionality is the strength of the emotional charge. Lucidity is the degree of awareness within the dream. The related manuscript treats the same three components as phenomenological variables.

One format makes dreams comparable with each other. The user sees whether a metric rose, fell, or stayed the same relative to earlier entries.

The scores are produced by an AI from the description of the dream. How closely they match the person's own rating is a question we still have to test.

A user profile (age, sex, country, occupation, family context) makes interpretation and analytics personal. Data are tied to a session and stay inside the user's own account.

Limitations

DreamAI does not diagnose, does not treat, and does not replace a specialist. An interpretation is a hypothesis about a dream.

The three scales describe an experience the person reported, as read by a model. They do not measure brain activity.

The related manuscript is at the stage of pilot observations and makes no clinical claims, and the service inherits none.

If a conversation shows signs of acute distress, the service should direct the person to live support.

Access is by request. Terms of use are agreed before you start working with the project.

HandS Lab research tools and prototypes are not a catalog of commercial products. If a specific applied solution involves commercial deployment, it is carried out by an external operator or partner.

Privacy

Dream text, emotional state, and links with a psychologist are sensitive data. Shared access is explicit, limited in scope and time, and can be revoked.
