Ethics of Interaction

We need to know how a system works and what happens to a person when it makes an error.

When a digital system enters the space of personal experience, support, or learning, consider the individual who will interact with it.

What happens if the system makes a mistake? Is it clear where its role ends? Can a person pause the interaction, ask a question, or seek human support?

Fairness, safety, transparency, privacy, and accountability form the foundation of responsible AI use. For HandS Lab, the nature of the interaction itself is equally vital: where trust emerges, how individuals comprehend system limits, who designs the experience, and what happens when issues arise.

A system may sound persuasive. But accountability for its operation rests with people and organizations: those who define the scenario, design the interface, set boundaries, process data, and respond to incidents.

Trust and Compliance

We do not claim GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, or ISO 27001 certifications on this site.

Where GDPR may apply, we assess applicability and describe measures in the data notice, without symbolic badges.

We do not position HandS Lab services as HIPAA-covered. Handling protected health information under HIPAA requires a dedicated framework; that is not our current model.

We do not claim SOC 2 and ISO 27001 pending third-party audits.

Instead, we publish standalone legal documents, explicit product boundaries, an issue reporting channel, and HandS Lab standards as an open project — self-assessment is not third-party certification.
