Partnership with HandS Lab

Your team already works with AI. The question is whether people remain the authors of their work.

We work with organizations, universities, and communities around a specific question: how AI changes decisions, learning, creativity, and responsibility in your environment, and what to do about it.

Who this is for

  • Teams and companies

that bring AI into daily work and want people to become stronger, not more dependent.

  • Universities and schools

looking for ways to teach alongside AI without losing students’ independent thinking.

  • AI product developers

who want users to understand the system’s role and be able to change a decision.

  • Civic organizations and foundations

working on digital literacy, youth, and technology ethics.

Ways to work together

Educational workshop

One topic, 2–3 hours, up to 25 participants. For example: what is appropriate to delegate to AI, how to verify responses, how to keep your own writing style.

Educational program

4–6 sessions for a team or a student group. Sequential work on one question: from personal habits to team rules for working with AI.

Workflow research

We observe how your team works with AI and show where people keep authorship and where they quietly lose it. The result is a report with findings and recommendations.

AI product review against Human Agency by Design

We look at your product through the user’s eyes: is the system’s role declared, is there an exit, does the decision stay with the person.

Pilot

A limited work cycle in a specific scenario, with agreed roles, boundaries, and data rules.

Supporting research

You fund a study or an open material that matters for your field. The findings are published openly.

How we work

  1. 01

    Getting acquainted

You tell us how you see the collaboration; we tell you about HandS Lab’s areas and approaches.

  2. 02

    Shared concept

We define what each side contributes and receives: research, expertise, data, audience, resources.

  3. 03

    Agreement

We agree on roles, boundaries, and data handling, and record them in a memorandum or contract.

  4. 04

    Joint work

We carry out a study, program, pilot, or event.

  5. 05

    Outcomes

Together we make sense of the results and decide where to go next.

Our terms of independence

  • A partner does not determine the conclusions of a study.
  • We honestly distinguish between hypotheses, observations, and confirmed findings.
  • We do not advertise partners’ products and do not issue assessments for payment.
  • We publish open findings only within the limits agreed for data and confidentiality.

What a pilot can look like

An educational organization wants to give participants more practice before working with real people. Together with the HandS Lab team, it defines a learning question, agrees on the boundaries of simulation use and data practices, and then conducts a cycle of sessions. Afterward, participants and lecturers analyze the experience and decide what should be changed or examined further.

The result is a documented scenario and pilot conclusions — regardless of whether the initial expectations were confirmed.
