We study how interaction with AI transforms human experience and build tools and practices that help individuals unlock their capabilities, reflect on habits and beliefs, and remain the authors of their decisions.

We envision a world where technological capabilities widen the space of human life.

A world where individuals can receive assistance, delegate, learn, and create while understanding what is happening, influencing decisions, and reshaping interaction patterns.

Saying that technology should assist people is only a starting point. We need to understand how it helps, for whom, under what conditions, and with what consequences.

Therefore, we formulate research questions, build prototypes, conduct pilots, and analyze interactions. We distinguish assumptions from conclusions and remain ready to adjust our decisions if observations reveal unintended outcomes.

HandS Lab operates as a civic organization to advance research, educational outreach, and other public-interest initiatives whose value extends beyond commercial product sales.

This format allows us to address socially important questions, produce open resources, and publish results independently of whether they confirm initial expectations.
